BAC-S-50C allows frequent ladder access with Type 316 stainless steel hinge pins and powerful compression springs for lift-assisted access. With automatic hold-open arms, operators can easily transport tools, equipment, and other material. UL 790 Compliant: BAC-S-50C fortifies your structures with tamper-resistant heavy-gauge steel and a Class A UL 790 rating providing the highest level of fire resistance for rooftops.
Easier Installations: With a 3-½" mounting flange, an overlapping cover design, and 7/8" predrilled holes, BAC-S-50C easily and securely fastens to roof decks with a straightforward, streamlined process.
Weatherproofed Construction: BAC-S-50C has EPDM rubber gaskets permanently adhered to its cover, providing a tight seal, leaving the elements out of your spaces. BA-S-50C's construction leaves it highly resistant to corrosion from elemental exposure, including heavy rain.
Structural Reinforcement: BAC-S-50C provides live-load support of up to 40 pounds per square foot of load-bearing support to your rooftops.
Optimized Energy Efficiency: BAC-S-50C has 1" thick fiberboard insulation within its curb, reinforced by 1" thick fiberglass within its cover for enhanced thermal resistance and reduced energy consumption.
