BAC-EEFD Emergency Egress Floor Hatch by Best Access Doors is your primary access point for safe egress in transit systems. This heavy-duty access door boasts a double-leaf design, constructed of heavy-duty aluminum with stainless steel hardware, ensures its longevity in all weather conditions.
BAC-EEFD maintains a flush fit with concrete floor surfaces with flush steel lifting handles to minimize the chances of accidental snags or trips. This model has a reinforced, anchor welded channel frame which supports a live load of up to 300 pounds per square foot to sustain foot and light vehicular traffic.
With safety features such as lift-assistance provided by compression springs, and red-vinyl gripped hold-open arms, BAC-EEFD ensures safety in emergency situations, making it the ideal addition to underground worksites.
