This Miami Dade County approved equipment hatch comprises heavy-gauge aluminum with a construction that will withstand extreme weather conditions, tested and certified for use in hurricane zones. Miami Dade Approved Roof Hatch: BAC-F-90 is fully certified by the Miami-Dade Building Code Compliance Office and the Florida Building Commission for use in projects located in hurricane zones.
Efficient Rooftop Entry: BAC-F-90 grants easy access to rooftops with the use of interior and exterior turn handles and powerful compression springs with automatic locking arms, ensuring easy access.
Expanded Equipment Access: BAC-F-90 provides more clearance room than the standard 30” x 36” ladder access hatch for comfortable operation.
Easier Installations: With a 3-½" mounting flange and 7/8" predrilled holes, BAC-F-90 easily and securely fastens to roof decks with a streamlined process.
Weatherproofed Construction: BAC-F-90 has EPDM rubber gaskets permanently adhered to its cover, providing a tight seal while leaving the elements out of your spaces. BAC-F-90's construction leaves it highly resistant to corrosion from elemental exposure.
Structural Reinforcement: BAC-F-90 provides live-load support of up to 40 pounds per square foot of load-bearing support to your rooftops.
Optimized Energy Efficiency: BAC-F-90 has 1" thick fiberboard insulation within its curb, reinforced by 1" thick fiberglass within its cover for enhanced thermal resistance and excellent insulation.

- Curb: 12" in height with integral cap-flashing, 1" fiberboard insulation, fully welded at corners, 3-½" mounting flange with 7/16" holes
- Gasket: Extruded EPDM rubber gasket permanently adhered to cover
- Hinges: Heavy-duty pintle hinges with 3/8" Type 316 hinge pins
- Latch: Slam latch with exterior and interior turn handles and padlock hasps
