Automated Ventilation: BAC-BSVZG-Q features a positive releasing latch, activated by a rigorously tested UL-listed fusible link, which melts at temperatures over 165°F. Once the fuse melts, you can count on BAC-BSVZG-Q's covers to release, expelling flames, fumes, and toxic gases.

Weatherproofed Construction: BAC-BSVZG-Q has EPDM rubber gaskets permanently adhered to its cover, providing a tight seal while leaving the elements out of your spaces. BAC-BSVZG-Q has mineral wool insulation within its cover for enhanced thermal resistance (R-14) and reduced energy consumption.
Note: 2" Polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation (R-12) is available as an alternative; please contact our staff to request.
Increased Ventilation Capacity: BAC-BSVZG-Q utilizes its entire double-leaf design for venting, with four segments, providing reduced pressure buildup, uniform smoke distribution, and a point of attack for fire-fighters.
EZ Tab for Easy Mounting: BAC-BSVZG-Q is a single-wall curb hatch with a mounting flange with EZ tabs that make installations quicker and hassle-free.

BAC-BSVZG-Q is either manually or electronically opened for regular venting. This model opens for manual venting with zinc-plated rotary latches, standard on all models. For electronically opening venting, you will have the options of:
