Our BA-PFI-GYP is specially designed to be installed on fire rated drywall covered ceilings and walls. Once a sufficient layer of drywall compound is applied to its corner bead flange, it will leave only the door panel visible for a more aesthetic look. Once the installation is complete and the provided springs are hooked to the back of the panel, this door will be self closing and self locking thus meeting fire certification standards. 

If you prefer a fire protection door made of stainless steel, our BA-PFI-SS is an ideal choice. The door unit features 2” thick mineral wool insulation and can be used on fire rated walls and ceilings. It comes with a self locking and self closing door mechanism and a 1” flange for an easy flush installation on any type of surface.
