BAC-KD

The BAC-KD Aluminum Standard Double Leaf Non-Drainage Floor Door is the right floor access door to install when you don't want any water or liquid infiltrating inside access openings. You can also install it on your building's interior or exterior, depending on where your contractor wants it placed.

This floor access door comes with a ¼" aluminum, diamond-pattern tread plate reinforced for 150 psf (732 kg/m2) live load, and an extruded aluminum angle frame with strap anchors bolted all around the perimeter. To ensure that the access door is secure, it comes with a positive latching mechanism in type 316 stainless steel slam lock with a fixed interior handle. It also features a removable exterior turn/lift handle for added security measures. The BAC-KD has the same features and specifications as the BAC-K. The difference lies in the BAC-KD's double-leaf construction that the BAC-K does not have.

The hinges are a cast steel cam-action concealed from the exterior of the door. You can get it in a mill finish aluminum with a bituminous coating applied to the frame's exterior. We also offer custom sizes for your unique access requirements.
