One of our best-selling products is the drywall inlay access panel with fixed hinges. BA-F1 consists of a welded aluminum frame and is available with or without 1/2" (12.7 mm) or 5/8" (15.9 mm) inlayed drywall and two latches (comes standard with inlay and touch latches). For sizes 12" x 12" (305 mm x 305 mm) and up, the access panels are equipped with a safety-system to prevent accidental opening. This safety system must be reattached after each opening. This unit also has concealed snap locks that open the access panel when pressure is applied to the spring loaded latch side.

This door is standard with a touch latch feature. Designed to accommodate 5/8" drywall, the frame can be reversed to accommodate 1/2" drywall. Among its significant features is the spring loaded hinge pin that allows the door panel to open to 90 degrees, and be removed from the frame. A safety chain is also installed on the door & frame for safety.
